Chief Executive Officer

Ram started his banking career with Barclays Capital in Singapore, in the Equity Derivatives Group handling OTC structured products for distribution to clients of Barclays Wealth and institutional clients.

With a strong passion for challenges, Ram has also been a coverage banker managing MNC client portfolios in the Industrials, Consumer (Discretionary & Staples), Healthcare & Real Estate sectors during his tenor in the Corporate and Investment Banking teams of JPMorgan, Citibank and MUFJ.

For close to 2 decades, Ram has structured Corporate and Investment Banking solutions for clients in Asia Pacific. With his extensive network and knowledge of the clients’ landscape, Ram has successfully executed acquisitions, business restructures and facilitated liquidity solutions including debt and equity capital raise. Understanding the client’s needs and challenges, coupled with structuring relevant frameworks, and identifying bespoke investment opportunities are Ram’s core strengths.

Prior to starting Ryder, Ram was the CEO of a HK Multi Family Office’s (“MFO”) Singapore branch. Regionally, the MFO group had USD 2.4 Billion in Assets Under Management.

We focus on tailor-made divestures and acquisitions across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe.

We have been appointed to represent sell-side and buy-side mandates and have also participated in syndicated deals in Asia.

We have successfully closed mandates between USD 10-125 million.

Equity and Debt Capital Raise

We work with our strategic partners and alliance networks in Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific to source for investors in the institutional, family office and corporate sectors.

We have assisted our clients in structuring both debt and equity structures for their capital raise activities.

We have successfully closed mandates between USD25 -147 million.

Restructuring of Operations

With economic cycles and market forces, opportunities and challenges arise for our clients across the spectrum

We assist in restructuring their business by selling part of operations, including leverage buyouts, after carefully considering the long term and medium-term objectives of our clients, the industry landscape and opportunities presented.
